Doctor celebrates Buhari’s report with free surgeries

A Kaduna-based medical practitioner has offered free surgeries to indigent Nigerians to commemorate the return of President Muhammadu Buhari from medical leave in the United Kingdom.
Dr Tasiu Ibrahim of the Sultan Hospital in Makarfi Road, Rigasa, Kaduna, told Daily Trust on phone the exercise will hold between August 20 and 26.
“We will offer the free surgeries as a way of expressing our gratitude to Almighty Allah, for returning safely, our President, Muhammadu Buhari, to continue the stewardship of our dear country Nigeria; we at Sultan Hospital hereby declare a week of free surgeries for indigent Nigerians. We pray to Almighty Allah to grant Mr. President more strength and wisdom to steer the affairs of this nation,” he said.
He said the surgeries included those for   hernia in adult and children, enlarged testicles, removal of excess fat, excision of breast lump, and the removal of lumps from the hands.
