The Algerian national group on Thursday evening touched base in Uyo on board a sanctioned flight in front of their Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

An announcement by the representative of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ademola Olajire, said that a designation of 61 people, incorporating the players arrived in Uyo.
