Eric and Lara Trump announced the birth of their first child, a son they named Eric "Luke" Trump. The baby, born Tuesday, is President Trump's ninth grandchild.
QEric Trump, the president's middle son, announced the news on Twitter, the same venue where he announced the pregnancy back in March
"LaraLeaTrump and I are excited to announce the birth of our son, Eric "Luke" Trump at 8:50 this morning," Eric Trump tweeted.
Eric Trump, 33, is the third child and younger son of the president and his first wife, Ivana.
His older brother Donald Trump Jr., 39, and his wife, Vanessa, have five children. Sister Ivanka Trump, 35, and her husband Jared Kushner, both White House senior aides, have three children.

The president also has two younger children, Tiffany, 23, whose mother is his second wife, Marla Maples, and Barron, 11, with his third wife, first lady Melania Trump.
Ivanka Trump tweeted congratulations. "Welcome to the world, baby boy. I can't wait to meet you," her tweet read.

His older brother also weighed in by tweet:
"Congrats buddy. Welcome to the club. Now that the niceties are out of the way it's older brother revenge for that drum set to my kids," Trump Jr. joked.

And the president added his good wishes, as he did when the couple announced they were pregnant.
"Congratulations to Eric & Lara on the birth of their son, Eric 'Luke' Trump this morning!," he tweeted

Back in March, POTUS said he was "very proud and happy for the two of you."

Lara Trump, 34, a former Inside Edition producer, is now hosting Real News, a vlog-style YouTube show aimed at polishing the president's profile and combatting the "fake news" stories she says the mainstream media highlights.
"I bet you haven't heard about all of the accomplishments the president had this week because there's so much fake news out there," she said in the first video posted on the president's Facebook page.
Eric and older brother Don Jr. now run the president's company, The Trump Organization, in New York.
