#ENDSARS Campaign Finally To take To The Streets

The #ENDSARS campaign is now expected to simultaneously go to the streets on different Nigerian Cities on Monday 11 December, 2017. 

The protests, to take place in Lagos, Abuja, Owerri, Ibadan, Kaduna, Port-Harcourt, and Warri, is to demand an end to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad unit of the Nigerian Police force, known as SARS

This comes after the body were accused of extra-judicial killings, systematic profiling, and other human right abuses by citizens. The campaign started on Twitter but soon gained popularity, reaching over 100,000 tweets in no time.  The hashtag, #ENDSARS quickly became a crying call for those who have been at the receiving end of SARS treatment, and helped amplify the message. 

The message, which is now been taken to the streets.
