West Ham Stuns the Blues

David Moyes claimed his first three points as West Ham manager after the Hammers beat Chelsea by an Arnatovic’s goal.

The striker, bought during the summer from Stoke City stuck early in the match to give the London club a surprise lead, which they held on to for the remainder of the game.

A victory would have moved Chelsea level with Manchester United who play city rivals and league leaders Manchester City tomorrow, while the victory gave Moyes his first win in five attempts and justified his attempts to stick with Adrian instead of English goalkeeper, Joe Hart.

It was a frustrating game for the blues, with many players performing below par. It was exemplified by Morata’s miss in the dying minutes of the game.

While West-Ham might have been steadily moving towards the end of the table, they performances under Moyes have improved, and that also showed last week in the defeat to City.
You cant say they don’t deserve this win.

But for Chelsea, who now have to watch tomorrow's game with a feeling of missed opportunity, the result is another road-block on their path to defending their title.
